DIVINE WOMEN sUBMISSIONS
Do I Qualify?
We are looking for talented women 11-18 years of age who live on Staten Island to perform an original work at our upcoming multi-disciplinary performance scheduled for October 20th at The Hilton Garden Inn Lobby Lounge. We are currently accepting submissions from the following categories:
Singers/songwriters (may be accompanied by band)
Instrumentalists
Comedic performers
Dancers (performance space limitations)
Cinema/film
All performers being under the age of 18 must submit a permission form also signed by a parent or legal guardian. Proof of residency may be required if you are selected to perform in a Divine Women Showcase, and you may be asked to confirm compliance with all contest rules.
HOW DO I SUBMIT?
You may submit an entry online by using the form below. Online submissions will be accepted from March 1, 2019 until May 1, 2019 at 11:59 pm ET. Incomplete entries will not be considered.
HOW ARE ARTISTS SELECTED?
Joan Caddell and Phyllis Forman, sponsors of the Divine Women Showcase, will view and adjudicate all submissions. Artists will be selected based on criteria including the following:
Technical Excellence (a high level of proficiency and skill in the selected art form)
Innovation (a uniquely individual approach and style to the work)
Artistry (honoring and expanding the genre or discipline)
Performance Quality (providing a polished product that achieves all of the aforementioned elements)
PERFORMANCE LOCATION
This Divine Women Showcase will take place inside of the beautiful Lobby Lounge at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Located at 1100 South Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10314.
This performance is set to take place on Sunday, October 20th, 2019.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
You must provide a video submission. You will not be judged on the quality of the video. The video serves as your audition.
All video submissions should be uploaded through third-party websites. We recommend YouTube or Vimeo.
All video submissions must not exceed 5 minutes in length.
Submissions must be original compositions.
If chosen to perform in the Divine Women Showcase, the performance should not exceed five minutes in length, within the guidelines of the technical specs that are detailed below.
You must be willing to bring all necessary backline with the exception of the piano, drum kit, mics, and PA system provided by Divine Women LLC.
WHAT WILL I WIN?

The winners of the Divine Women Showcase will receive:
$50 in Money
Winners will be invited to participate in a Divine Women Show in 2019 (show will take place at a larger venue on date to be determined)
A Divine Women T-Shirt
