A weekend event hosting over 20 Maritime Bands at the Bandstand on July 19, 20 & 21, performing a wide variety of band music, including Marching, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Dixieland, Blues, Wind, Country and Irish. The weekend also includes three evenings with spotlight performances.

Cinema Connex will kick-off its 2018-2019 season on Thursday, December 6th with "Let the River Run," a 30th anniversary mega-screening of “Working Girl” at the historic St. George Theatre. The much-loved film starring Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford and Sigourney Weaver tells the story of Tess McGill, a Staten Islander with big ambitions. Local small business partners Electric Hair, Staten Island MakerSpace, ETG Clothing and Richmond Hood Co. will provide themed pop-up stations for guests to partake in fun activities inspired by the movie.
